Carole Favre is a French-born author, poet, performer, community leader and mentor to men based in Bali. Drawing on a career as an international tourism consultant and lecturer across four continents, she explores how cultures, generations and genders unite and divide. Her debut novel, The Book of Ọlá, weaves love, masculinity and trauma into lyrical fiction inspired by Yorùbá culture. As the host of Deep Talk and Deep Love, she creates spaces for curiosity, honesty and genuine human connection. She performs spoken word across Asia, including at the Singapore Writers Festival, All Souls Everything Bali, Art in Chai Pai and Popcorn & Poetry Chiang Mai.
