Jordan Elgrably

Jordan Elgrably is a Moroccan-French and American writer and translator. His stories and creative nonfiction have appeared in many anthologies and reviews, including Apulée, Salmagundi, and The Paris Review. Founder and Publisher of The Markaz Review, he is the publication's former editor-in-chief. He is the editor of Stories From the Centre of the World, published by City Lights in 2024, and co-editor with Malu Halasa of Sumūd: A New Palestinian Reader, published by Seven Stories Press in 2025, as well as editor of The Best of The Markaz Review 2020–2025. His forthcoming book is Politics of the Word: Conversations with World Novelists.
